Everything about brunch is exciting. The time with which it takes place, the great outdoors, the themes, the white linen clothes, the sandals, the rustic tables, the bales of hay, the sweaty cowboys.. wait, that’s a different dream. Either way you get the plot, yes?
And leading up to the cherry of the brunch pie, the FOOD! There is nothing like variations and variations of breakfast. It’s the best kinda food! It’s almost magical.
So last night a dear friend and I decided to have a few close and special friends over for brunch dinner. Kathy’s Kitchen specializing in all the vegetarian food and Senses by Kendi doing all the meat. The menu included:
· Breakfast enchiladas (veg)
· Home fries (veg)
· Caramelized onion and mushroom frittata (veg)
· Coconut butter beans (vegan)
· Chicken wings
· Teriyaki beef potatoes
· Breakfast cupcakes
· Sausage and mozzarella bread and
· Salted caramel apple galettes (vegan)
